Location: medieval Japan...
The evil Daimyo and his minions have laid Waste to your temple and killed off all of the other monks while you were away in another province, and now you are on to get your revenge. First off you have to fight against the daimyos champions of martial arts, before you can face the evil one himself.
In this Demo, you will only fight against one of the enemies, a pole armed guy.
After that the demo will jump back to the intro, whether you win or lose the fight.

This is really cool! It looks and plays very nice.
Am I missing something or is there only one attack button? How many fighters will there be in the final version?

The readme file explains the attack options, and also mentions this:
"i will add a couple of punches and maybe even a special move on the final version of the game. But these kickonly-moves are sufficient for beating up the demo enemy."
Yes, first off read the readme.txt, it might clear up a few things..
there will be around 6 to 8 enemies and two or three different backgrounds in the final version (depending on romspace)...
one more thing: i recommend playing the game on a real vectrex..the controls are much smoother, and the game a lot easier..
I agree. The real vectrex is a better play.
